This is happening right now. From Ekstrabladet

Gus Murray is an Australian entrepreneur who works, no, worked in Denmark. The Danish government offered him money for one of his projects, which he accepted. Onl,y soon afterwards they said he shouldn't have been offered any, and demanded he repay it. He did. Now they're deporting him anyway for taking the money. Yes, the same money that they offered him.

Remember this, because it's a common occurrence for foreigners living and working in Denmark. The laws are a tangled, ever-changing morass, and inter-ministerial miss-communications and misinterpretations of the law are common. Plus, as we've seen many times before, the government always gets benefit of the doubt in these matters, and you the foreigner are responsible for all mistakes.
